Applications Open for Fall RA Positions

The Yale Cognition and Development Lab is now accepting applications for undergraduate research assistant positions for the Fall 2011 semester!

We are seeking at least two students to support the lab activities as we begin new ventures and continue ongoing projects. Current and upcoming ventures may include:

  • Expertise and reliable interrogation
  • Dimensionalizing expertise
  • Source monitoring and valence of causal explanations
  • Narrative and mechanistic reasoning

Undergraduate assistants in our lab tend to be involved in every phase of the research process and often find the experience to be very a rewarding one. Assistants will commit to at least one full semester of service: 8-10 hours per week in addition to weekly meetings Mondays, 10:00 am - 11:30 am. Assistants should also plan for some of their hours to span extended lunch hours at least once per week later in the semester in order to assist in schools.

Yale students may earn independent study course credit. Work-study opportunities may be available in some cases.

TO APPLY: Email cogdevlab@yale.edu with "RA Application" in subject line.

PRIORITY DEADLINE: September 5, 2011
